The club always encourages young shooters and has a lively and growing junior section.

Junior membeship is free when a parent is a full member of the club 

We have qualified training officers who supervise training of our young members and we also offer training for the Duke of Edinburgh’s award.

The junior section includes two crack-shot medal winners: Oscar Potter and Jack Scates both regularly win medals in open competitions.

The juniors are encouraged to shoot on Saturday mornings but may shoot at other times as long as adequate supervision is available.

Junior shooting is not confined to the club range. Pictured left Alex Cunningham, one of our junior members, takes aim with a .223 calibre rifle at the Barton Road range near Cambridge.
